Although the weather didn't cooperate, we still had a good turnout for this year's show. This year brought 121 entries, less than last year but the quality of vehicles was better. Congratulations to Christina Mcintosh from Rigby, Idaho for winning $600 in free tires from Fred and Waynes Tire Center.
Lots of give-aways,
Trivia contests, ballons and tattoos for the kids, hopping contests from
the low-riders, and lots of rock-n-roll music. Grandpa's Barbecue and
the Snake River Speedway provided ribs and hamburgers for the hungry crowd.
Mike and Toni Tolman walked away with 3 trophys, Best in Show, Best 1930's, and Best display. Congratulations. The best club display went to Lowered Life Car Club from Idaho Falls with their numerous cars, bicycles, and model cars. Their hydraulic systems brought lots of lookers.
Broadway Ford brought their Ford GT which was in the center stage as you walked in the door. For the Hot Rod Car Show, the GT was on sale for a low price of $195,000. Everbody took a good long look, but nobody hauled out their checkbook and drove it home.
